# PipelineDB

> PipelineDB was a high-performance PostgreSQL extension for continuous,
> incremental aggregation of time-series data using continuous SQL views,
> avoiding the need to store raw event data. It also offered Stride, a hosted
> streaming-analytics API. The company joined Confluent in 2019; the
> open-source extension is archived at a final 1.0.0 (Apache-2.0) release, and
> the hosted service and pipelinedb.com website have been retired.

Status: End-of-life / archived. Provided here for historical reference. The
pipelinedb.com domain and docs.pipelinedb.com no longer resolve to the product.
