      <p>This policy describes what information API Evangelist LLC ("API Evangelist", "we", "us") collects across apievangelist.com, its subdomain properties, and related APIs and services — and what we do with it. The short version: we collect as little as we can, we do not sell personal information, and everything we do collect exists to run the services you asked for.</p>

      <h2 class="fs-5 fw-semibold mt-4 mb-2">What we collect</h2>
      <p><strong>Usage analytics.</strong> Like most websites we collect aggregate traffic data — pages visited, referrers, approximate geography, browser and device type — using standard web analytics and the request logs of our hosting infrastructure. We use this to understand what content is useful and to keep the services running well.</p>
      <p><strong>Information you give us.</strong> If you subscribe to a newsletter we collect your email address. If you contact us we receive whatever you send. If you create an account for a developer service we collect the identifiers needed to operate it, such as your email or GitHub account name and API keys issued to you.</p>
      <p><strong>Purchases.</strong> Payments are processed by third-party payment providers; we receive confirmation of the purchase and basic details needed to deliver it, but we do not receive or store your full payment card details.</p>

      <h2 class="fs-5 fw-semibold mt-4 mb-2">What we do with it</h2>
      <p>We use the information above to deliver the content and services you request, to send newsletters you subscribed to, to meter and secure API access, to fulfill purchases, and to understand aggregate usage of our properties. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with third parties except the service providers listed below, or where the law requires it.</p>

      <h2 class="fs-5 fw-semibold mt-4 mb-2">Service providers</h2>
      <p>We rely on a small set of third-party services to operate: cloud hosting and content delivery, code hosting, email newsletter delivery, payment processing, and web analytics. Each receives only the information needed to perform its function, and each operates under its own privacy policy. Embedded third-party content — such as videos or podcast players — may set its own cookies when you interact with it.</p>

      <h2 class="fs-5 fw-semibold mt-4 mb-2">Cookies</h2>
      <p>We use a minimal set of cookies and similar technologies for analytics and, where applicable, to keep you signed in to developer services. You can block cookies in your browser; the informational parts of our properties work fine without them.</p>

      <h2 class="fs-5 fw-semibold mt-4 mb-2">Retention</h2>
      <p>We keep personal information only as long as it is needed for the purpose it was collected — an active subscription, an open account, records we are required to keep. Aggregate analytics that do not identify you may be retained longer.</p>

      <h2 class="fs-5 fw-semibold mt-4 mb-2">Your choices</h2>
      <p>Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link. You can ask us at any time what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — email <a href="mailto:info@apievangelist.com">info@apievangelist.com</a> and we will respond promptly. Deleting account information may end services that depend on it.</p>

      <h2 class="fs-5 fw-semibold mt-4 mb-2">Children</h2>
      <p>Our services are aimed at professionals and are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.</p>

      <h2 class="fs-5 fw-semibold mt-4 mb-2">Changes to this policy</h2>
      <p>We may update this policy from time to time; the effective date above reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be noted on this page.</p>
