          <p>This is a timeline of people I am assembling to support my research and storytelling. It currently profiles 146 people, beginning with Ada Lovelace and running through to the present — with a strong emphasis on the women of technology, alongside the figures behind early computing, cybernetics, mathematics, electricity, networks, the Internet and the web, APIs, and now artificial intelligence. I keep adding people as my research surfaces the humans behind the moments captured in my other timelines.</p>
