# Qapital

> Qapital is a consumer personal-finance company founded in 2013, "born in Stockholm, raised in
> New York City". It sells a mobile membership app that combines automated saving (Goals + Rules),
> collaborative saving (Dream Team), budgeting, investing through SEC-registered advisory and
> brokerage partners, and a Qapital Visa debit card on FDIC-member partner banking. Qapital reports
> 3.5m+ downloads and about $3B collectively saved by members.

## Agent-relevant summary

Qapital has NO public API. As of 2026-08-26 there is no developer portal, no API reference, no
OpenAPI/AsyncAPI/GraphQL contract, no SDK, no CLI, no MCP server, no A2A agent card, and no
/.well-known/ document of any kind. `developer.qapital.com` and `docs.qapital.com` do not resolve.
`api.qapital.com` resolves to an AWS ELB but answers every anonymous request — including
/openapi.json, /swagger.json, /docs, /graphql and /.well-known/* — with HTTP 503 Service
Unavailable; it is the private backend for the mobile apps, not a published product.

The only public programmable surface is a Qapital service on IFTTT with four polling triggers,
three Pro+ queries and one action. Third-party read access to Qapital account data is generally
obtained through open-banking aggregators rather than from Qapital directly.
