# QurAlis > QurAlis Corporation is a clinical-stage biotechnology company founded on December 12, 2016 in > Cambridge, Massachusetts by Drs. Kasper Roet, Kevin Eggan and Clifford Woolf together with > Q-State Biosciences. It develops precision medicines for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), > frontotemporal dementia (FTD) and other neurodegenerative and neurological diseases. QurAlis does > not run a developer program and publishes no API. ## About QurAlis calls its team "neuro pioneers." The company was founded by neurodegenerative biologists from Harvard Medical School and Harvard University to translate the discovery that different disease drivers cause ALS into precision therapies, in the way oncology moved to targeted treatment. Its scientific foundation is TDP-43 pathology: co-founder Kevin Eggan's lab showed in 2019 that loss of normal TDP-43 function drives a significant decrease in STATHMIN-2 (STMN2) expression and an impairment in neuronal repair that can be rescued by restoring STMN2 levels (published in Nature Neuroscience). TDP-43 pathology is present in nearly all ALS patients, roughly 50% of FTD patients, about a third of Alzheimer's disease patients and up to 7% of Parkinson's disease patients. ## Pipeline - **QRL-201** — a first-in-class molecule for ALS that aims to restore STMN2 expression. In the ANQUR clinical trial; QurAlis reported effects on disease progression and target engagement in February 2026. - **QRL-101** — a potentially best-in-class selective Kv7.2/7.3 ion channel opener for hyperexcitability-induced disease progression in ALS, and for epilepsy and pain. Signal of target engagement in ALS patients confirmed in a Phase 1 trial, reported December 2025. - **UNC13A program** — targeting the cryptic-exon mis-splicing of UNC13A pre-mRNA caused by loss of TDP-43 function in ALS and FTD. As of 2026-08-05 there is no developer portal, no API documentation, no SDK, no OpenAPI/Swagger/GraphQL/AsyncAPI contract, no publicly readable MCP server and no A2A agent card. Every `/.well-known/` discovery path and every conventional spec path on www.quralis.com returns 404. No `api.`, `developer.`, `developers.`, `docs.`, `portal.` or `data.` host resolves for quralis.com. No `quralis` GitHub organisation or user exists and a GitHub-wide repository search for "quralis" returns zero results; there is no package on npm or PyPI. The only machine-readable surface on the domain is the WordPress CMS route index at `https://www.quralis.com/wp-json/`, which serves the corporate marketing site. It includes the stock WordPress MCP Adapter and Abilities routes, both of which return HTTP 401 `rest_forbidden` to anonymous callers. These are content-management plumbing, not a developer offering — agents should not treat them as a QurAlis API.
