# Notch

> Notch turns a product page and plain-language brief into a finished video or image ad. Connect it over MCP to create, review, and edit ads from your AI chat.

## MCP connector

- Endpoint: https://app.usenotch.ai/mcp (streamable HTTP)
- Auth: OAuth 2.0 in the browser — no API keys
- Claude (one click, prefilled): https://claude.ai/customize/connectors?modal=add-custom-connector&connectorName=Notch&connectorUrl=https%3A%2F%2Fapp.usenotch.ai%2Fmcp
- Claude (manual): Customize → Connectors → Add custom connector → paste the URL
- Claude Code (terminal): `claude mcp add --transport http notch https://app.usenotch.ai/mcp` — browser sign-in prompts on first tool use
- Codex CLI (terminal): `codex mcp add notch --url https://app.usenotch.ai/mcp` then `codex mcp login notch`
- ChatGPT (plugin, any plan, web): first open Settings → Plugins and turn on Developer mode — adding a plugin is unavailable until it is on. Then open https://chatgpt.com/plugins (or Plugins in the sidebar) and click the + button beside the plugin search. Name the plugin Notch, keep Connection on Server URL, and paste the connector URL. Set Authentication to OAuth, tick “I understand and want to continue”, and create the plugin. Notch then shows under Installed on the Plugins page, and its tools are available in your chats.

Any client that supports remote MCP connectors can use the same endpoint URL.
Ads created over MCP land in the user's Notch workspace and spend the same
monthly credits as ads created on the web.
