# Shawbrook Bank

> Shawbrook Bank Limited is a specialist UK savings and lending bank (part of Shawbrook Group plc, LSE-listed October 2025), authorised by the PRA and regulated by the FCA. It focuses on personal and business savings and specialist lending rather than personal current accounts, so it is not a CMA9 bank. As an FCA-authorised deposit-taker it operates within the UK Open Banking / PSD2 framework. Shawbrook publishes no public developer portal; the API specifications below are the shared OBIE standards an FCA-authorised ASPSP conforms to, NOT verified Shawbrook-hosted contracts.
