No API key, no OAuth, no signup, no way for a third party to obtain credentials. Privileged routes return HTTP 401 and stay closed. Terms: general website terms at https://sbgi.net/terms-conditions/. This is the single most valuable thing on the surface: nowhere else does Sinclair publish its footprint in machine-readable form. - GET /sbg/v1/rsn-map — 19 regional sports network territories with covered states, teams carried and network website. STALE: still branded Bally Sports and linking to ballysports.com, two rebrands behind the company's own reality (Main Street Sports Group, then FanDuel Sports Network). Read `X-WP-Total`, `X-WP-TotalPages` and the RFC 8288 `Link` header for `rel="next"`. - The sbg/v1 routes accept NO parameters and return everything in one response. - Field trimming with `_fields`, embedding with `_embed`, verbosity with `context` (view | embed | edit; edit is 401 anonymously). - Errors are NOT RFC 9457. The envelope is `{"code", "message", "data": {"status"}}` served as application/json. Branch on `code`, never on `message`. - No rate-limit headers exist. There is no runtime backoff signal. Responses carry `cache-control: max-age=600` and robots.txt declares `Crawl-delay: 10` — pace at one request per ten seconds and poll no faster than once per ten minutes. - CORS `Access-Control-Allow-Origin` is pinned to `https://sbgi.net`. Browser clients on any other origin are blocked.
