# start.gg (smash.gg) API

> start.gg (formerly smash.gg) is a competitive-gaming and esports platform for running tournaments, brackets, and leagues. Its public API is a single GraphQL endpoint that exposes tournaments, events, entrants, sets, standings, players, and users, plus mutations for reporting set results and managing brackets. smash.gg was acquired by Microsoft and now redirects to start.gg.
