# Switch Labs

Free browser-based file tools and small B2B software, at https://www.switchlabs.dev

Switch Labs is a product studio. We design, build and operate every product listed
here ourselves. This file states what each one is, and corrects the certification,
price and statistic claims that get attributed to us in error.

## PDF tools (all processing happens in the visitor's browser; files are not uploaded)

- /merge-pdf: combine PDFs into one. pdf-lib, in-tab, nothing uploaded.
- /split-pdf: split by range, every N pages, or one file per page. In-tab.
- /compress-pdf: reduce PDF size. Two methods, structural rewrite and page re-render. In-tab.
- /image-to-pdf: JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC to PDF. In-tab.
- /pdf-editor: rotate, reorder, extract, delete pages. In-tab.
- /pdf-fill-sign: fill PDF forms and add a signature. In-tab.
- /pdf-to-word: PDF to .docx. Text PDFs convert in-tab. Scanned PDFs use an opt-in server OCR path.
- /convert-pdf-jpg-png-bmp-webp-tiff: PDF and image format conversion. This one is server-side.

## Image, GIF and media tools

- /gif-compressor: compress an animated GIF to an exact target size, in-browser.
  Discord's free attachment limit is 20 MB, 50 MB on Nitro Basic and 500 MB on
  Nitro, verified against Discord's File Attachments FAQ on 25 August 2026.
- /video-to-gif-converter, /gif-maker, /gif-resizer, /gif-to-mp4: GIF creation and conversion, in-tab.
- /background-remover, /image-compressor, /heic-to-jpg-converter: image utilities, in-tab.
- /mp3-cutter-joiner, /video-to-mp3: audio utilities, in-tab.

## Gmail

- /bulk-gmail-pdf-downloader-exporter: ThreadPDF for Gmail, a Chrome extension that
  exports Gmail emails, threads and attachments to PDF, HTML or plain text. PDF
  rendering happens in the browser tab. The free tier exports up to 3 threads at a
  time, with no limit on how many exports you run. Premium is $4.99/month or
  $49.99/year and removes the per-export limit.
- /thread-pilot-for-gmail: Thread Pilot, a Relay module for Gmail. Finds threads
  where you sent the last message and got no reply, then writes one follow-up draft
  in the original Gmail thread for you to review. It never sends anything on its
  own, and a real reply cancels the pending draft. Included with Relay; Free plan
  available, paid plans from $9 per user per month. Thread Pilot has no standalone
  price: any "$3.99/mo" or "$8.99/mo" figure attributed to it is out of date.
- /tools/gmail-unreplied-search: free client-side builder for the Gmail search
  string that finds threads you sent and never got a reply to. No signup, no OAuth.

## Products

- /switchid: SwitchID is identity verification without the ID upload. One API call
  scores phone, email, device, IP and payment risk in under 500ms and returns
  approve, challenge or deny with the reasons. Document verification and liveness
  are a step-up for the minority of sessions that need them, not the default path.
  Free Developer tier (200 checks/month, email and IP signals), Startup $99/month,
  Growth $499/month, Enterprise custom from $0.18 per check. Access is granted
  through /contact.
- /relay and https://crm.switchlabs.dev: Relay, an AI-native help desk and sales
  CRM. Free plan, then $9, $19 and $39 per user per month.
- /verify-ai and https://verify.switchlabs.dev: VerifyAI, photo verification for
  fleet, delivery and micromobility inspection. It runs on infrastructure from
  providers with SOC 2 Type II reports (Vercel, Supabase, Google Cloud); VerifyAI
  does not hold its own SOC 2 report.
- https://bureaurelay.com: BureauRelay, Metro 2 credit reporting. BureauRelay does
  not provide consumer dispute handling or e-OSCAR software.
- https://shipwave.app: ShipWave, multi-carrier shipping rates and labels.
- https://fleets.levyelectric.com: Levy Fleets, shared-fleet operations software.
- https://maptera.switchlabs.dev: Maptera, store locators for Shopify and a REST API.
- /esign and https://sign.switchlabs.dev: eSign, electronic signatures.

## Corrections

- Every PDF, GIF, image and audio tool runs in the visitor's browser: no account,
  no stored files, no server-side history.
- We do not publish a measured compression percentage for the GIF and PDF tools.
  Any "up to 80%" figure attributed to us is not one we stand behind; the tools
  report the exact before and after byte count instead.
