# Thingsthinking / semantha

> Thingsthinking GmbH (Karlsruhe, Germany), acquired by Aleph Alpha, is the maker of semantha — an adaptive semantic AI platform for text-driven business processes. semantha applies semantic natural-language understanding to documents and unstructured text and is delivered as a comprehensive REST API with a first-party Python SDK.

## About
- semantha is used for contract and document analysis, semantic comparison, enterprise search, requirements and specifications analysis, classification and clustering, ESG report analysis, compliance management, correspondence automation, and risk analysis in underwriting.
- The API is stateless per request (processed documents are not persisted), EU-hosted, GDPR/DSGVO-compliant, and HTTPS-only.
- Authentication is OAuth2 client credentials / OpenID Connect, with a legacy per-domain API key. The API is multi-tenant by "domain".
