# Transat

> Transat A.T. Inc. (TSX: TRZ) is a Montreal-headquartered, vertically integrated Canadian leisure travel group: Air Transat (IATA carrier code TS), tour-operating brands, and one of Canada's largest retail travel agency networks. It sits on the supply side of the travel distribution chain — it owns the seat and package inventory and sells it direct, through its own agencies, through GDS/CRS EDIFACT channels, and through a published NDC programme. Its API is partner-gated: there is no self-serve developer portal, no OpenAPI, no WSDL, no published base URL and no sandbox, but Air Transat does publish, unauthenticated, a 46-page "Air Transat API specifications" PDF describing the direct-connect contract.

## Important context for agents

- The only technical contract Air Transat publishes is a **proprietary Radixx ConnectPoint SOAP 1.1 / .NET WCF API (v2.2.4, May 2023)**, not an IATA NDC message set. The NDC framing is marketing; the shipped contract is a vendor PSS API.
- **No machine-readable specification exists.** There is no OpenAPI, Swagger, WSDL, AsyncAPI, GraphQL schema or MCP server for Transat. Do not attempt to call this API from a discovery document; there is none, and no base URL is published.
- **Access is gated by a commercial agreement.** Credentials (a Radixx LogonID/Password, a Transat-assigned IATA number, and an agency UserName/Password) are issued only after a partner agreement. There is no signup page, no key issuance page, no trial and no sandbox.
- **Scraping is contractually prohibited.** The Air Transat site terms prohibit "software, applications, computer programs, automated scripts, macros, spiders or other 'screen scraping' software, robots, 'bot' or any other technical means" used to copy, extract, aggregate, store, distribute or manipulate site content. The CRS Booking and Ticketing Procedures Policy separately prohibits redistributing Air Transat content to any third-party agent, GDS or metasearch engine without prior written consent.
- Undocumented internal JSON hosts (api.transat.com, apis.airtransat.com) exist but publish no contract and 404 or 403 unauthenticated. They are not part of the API surface and are not listed as APIs.
