      documented open-API program. Real, standards-based API surfaces exist via the
      Library: TARA, a DSpace institutional repository with an OAI-PMH metadata interface,
      and Digital Collections, a Hyrax/Samvera platform serving IIIF Presentation manifests
      (Book of Kells and other manuscripts). Both load in a browser (HTTP 200) but are
      fronted by bot-mitigation (Cloudflare "Just a moment..." on tara.tcd.ie returning 403;
      reCAPTCHA interstitial on digitalcollections.tcd.ie) that blocks unattended
      programmatic access, so they are not openly machine-callable as published. The
      TCDLibrary GitHub org and its TCD-Hyrax-Web-App repo were confirmed live. Federated
      identity is via HEAnet Edugate/eduGAIN SAML, not a public OAuth/OpenID developer API.
