# TrueBiz

> TrueBiz automates merchant risk assessment by analyzing a business's internet footprint. Its Web Presence Review API scores a merchant's legitimacy and risk from a domain plus submitted business details, and its Monitoring API continuously watches domains and raises alerts. Used by payments providers and financial institutions to streamline underwriting and ongoing merchant due diligence.

Authentication: all requests require an API key in the `X-API-KEY` header (a PropelAuth bearer JWT is also accepted). Base URL: https://ae.truebiz.io. Async endpoints return a `request_id`; results are retrieved by polling the history endpoints (submit-and-poll, no webhooks). List endpoints paginate with `limit`/`offset`.
