# ubank

> ubank is an Australian digital-only bank (a brand of National Australia Bank, NAB) offering savings accounts and home loans. As a Consumer Data Right (CDR) data holder, ubank exposes a public, unauthenticated Product Reference Data (PRD) API conforming to the DSB Consumer Data Standards. Authenticated consumer banking data is shared only with accredited data recipients under the CDR's OAuth2/OIDC (FAPI) model. The public CDR base URI is hosted on the 86 400 platform ubank migrated onto after NAB acquired neobank 86 400 in 2021.

## Notes

- Every request MUST send an `x-v` header (integer API version). Get Products serves x-v 5; Get Product Detail serves x-v 7. A missing `x-v` returns 400; an unsupported version returns 406 with the supported version echoed in the `x-v` response header.
- The public PRD surface is read-only and unauthenticated. There is no idempotency, write, or webhook surface on the public API.
- The OpenAPI captured is the DSB Consumer Data Standards "CDR Banking API" (v1.36.0) shared industry spec, not a ubank-proprietary contract; ubank exposes the two unauthenticated Product Reference Data operations from it.
