# Upciti

> Upciti equips cities with intelligent computer-vision sensors and the Upciti OS platform, turning streets into clear, anonymous, GDPR-native data (parking, mobility, energy, water, gas, lighting, temperature, weather, air quality, pollen, illegal dumping, noise) for informed municipal decisions. An open API connects Upciti OS to GIS, BI, and business tools.

Upciti is a French smart-city company backed by Point Nine. Sensors process video 100% locally at the edge, store no images, and emit anonymous counts and events. The platform advertises "Open API to connect your existing tools. No proprietary lock-in." Product documentation is customer-gated.
