# Vela

> Vela is an AI scheduling assistant (Y Combinator W26) that handles the ambiguity that breaks scheduling: add it to any email thread or messaging conversation and it negotiates on your behalf — proposing times across timezones, following up with participants, resolving calendar conflicts, rescheduling, and sending invites. Used by enterprise recruiters coordinating thousands of multi-party interviews a week.

Vela works across Gmail, Outlook, Slack, Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp, SMS, and phone. It does not currently publish a public API, developer documentation, or SDKs.
