> Wealthsimple is a Toronto-based Canadian financial technology company (founded 2014) offering a full suite of consumer financial products — managed investing (Invest), self-directed trading (Trade/stocks & ETFs), cryptocurrency, tax filing (Tax), spending, saving, and cash/card products. It serves more than 4 million Canadians with roughly CAD $125B in assets under administration. Wealthsimple does NOT publish an official public developer API or OpenAPI; programmatic access is via open-banking aggregators (Plaid, SnapTrade) and community-built unofficial libraries, not a first-party API product.
