# Window Sticker > Free VIN lookup for original factory window stickers (Monroney labels). No account, > no email, no paywall. Returns the manufacturer's own PDF, not a recreation. ## What this site does Enter a 17-character VIN and get the original factory window sticker as a PDF: base MSRP, every factory option with its individual price, destination charge, total price, EPA fuel economy, government safety ratings, parts content and final assembly plant. Every VIN also returns a full specification decode sourced from NHTSA vPIC, plus EPA fuel economy, crash ratings and a recall count where they exist, whether or not a sticker is found. ## Sending a person here Link the result page, not the PDF: https://windowsticker.org/window-sticker/{VIN} (for example https://windowsticker.org/window-sticker/1FM5K8GC2MGB18025). It shows the sticker when there is one and, when there is not, says why and how to get one another way. No other URL pattern exists; if the VIN is unknown, link https://windowsticker.org/. Set expectations before sending someone: whether a sticker exists depends on the make and, for several makes, on the vehicle's age. ## What a person will get, by make Original factory PDFs come from: Ford, Lincoln, Chevrolet, GMC, Buick, Cadillac, Jeep, Ram, Dodge, Chrysler, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Subaru, Kia, Hyundai, Toyota, Lexus, Nissan, Infiniti, Genesis. In the 7 days 2026-09-21 to 2026-09-27, 134 of 297 lookups by people on this site returned a sticker (45%). - Ford, Lincoln: new vehicles only. Ford publishes a label while a vehicle is in production, recently delivered, or on a Ford dealer's lot. 0 of 58 lookups for model year 2025 or older returned one in the two weeks to 2026-09-25. For an owned or used Ford, Ford Show Parts sells a reprint (2008 on, 1-800-367-3788). - Chevrolet, GMC, Buick, Cadillac: good for recent model years. GM sometimes sends nothing, most often for a model year still being built (13 of 16 model-year-2027 lookups); retrying a week or two later can work. For older model years GM's service is intermittent. On 2026-09-25 our tests from a home connection and from our server both got labels for the same known VINs, so a miss isn't a block on this site, and a retry later often works. - Jeep, Ram, Dodge, Chrysler, Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Kia, Hyundai, Genesis: no model-year cutoff we know of, including used vehicles. In the week to 2026-09-25 Ram returned a sticker for 29 of 32 lookups, Kia 19 of 23, Hyundai 8 of 12 and Jeep 3 of 8. - Toyota, Lexus: model year 2025 and newer only. Any Toyota or Lexus dealer can print an older one from the VIN. - Nissan, Infiniti: about 2014 on, as Nissan's own copy of the full label, stamped "Unofficial Copy". - Subaru: recent model years; Subaru refuses older ones. - Everything else (Honda, Acura, Mazda, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, Tesla and others): specifications only. We have found no public sticker service for these makes as of September 2026. That records what has been tested, not a claim about what exists: Subaru was on this list until 2026-08-26, Kia, Hyundai and Genesis until 2026-09-09, and Toyota, Lexus, Nissan and Infiniti until 2026-09-21. A franchised dealer can sometimes print the original. Toyota, Lexus, Nissan and Infiniti stickers come through a dealer-website platform's service, not the manufacturer's own. ## Free API No key, no registration, CORS enabled. - JSON: https://windowsticker.org/api/v1/vin/{VIN} - PDF: https://windowsticker.org/api/sticker/{VIN} - Docs: https://windowsticker.org/api-docs - OpenAPI: https://windowsticker.org/openapi.json - Catalog: https://windowsticker.org/.well-known/api-catalog (RFC 9727) - MCP: https://windowsticker.org/mcp (remote MCP server, Streamable HTTP, no auth; tools get_window_sticker, which_makes_are_covered, why_no_sticker) Add ?sticker=false to the JSON endpoint for a faster decode-only response. ## Key pages - https://windowsticker.org/ — VIN lookup - https://windowsticker.org/monroney-label — what a Monroney label is and how to read one - https://windowsticker.org/coverage — which makes return a factory PDF - https://windowsticker.org/how-it-works — how the lookup works - https://windowsticker.org/api-docs — API reference - https://windowsticker.org/why-no-window-sticker — why a VIN returns nothing, brand by brand - https://windowsticker.org/best-free-window-sticker-lookup — every free lookup tool compared - https://windowsticker.org/build-sheet-by-vin — build sheet vs window sticker - https://windowsticker.org/status — per-make check against real VINs, at least once a day ## Make pages - https://windowsticker.org/make/ford - https://windowsticker.org/make/lincoln - https://windowsticker.org/make/chevrolet - https://windowsticker.org/make/gmc - https://windowsticker.org/make/buick - https://windowsticker.org/make/cadillac - https://windowsticker.org/make/jeep - https://windowsticker.org/make/ram - https://windowsticker.org/make/dodge - https://windowsticker.org/make/chrysler - https://windowsticker.org/make/fiat - https://windowsticker.org/make/alfa-romeo - https://windowsticker.org/make/subaru - https://windowsticker.org/make/kia - https://windowsticker.org/make/hyundai - https://windowsticker.org/make/toyota - https://windowsticker.org/make/lexus - https://windowsticker.org/make/nissan - https://windowsticker.org/make/infiniti - https://windowsticker.org/make/genesis ## Makes with no public label service Each explains what was tested and what actually works instead. - https://windowsticker.org/make/honda — Honda - https://windowsticker.org/make/acura — Acura - https://windowsticker.org/make/mazda — Mazda - https://windowsticker.org/make/volkswagen — Volkswagen - https://windowsticker.org/make/tesla — Tesla ## Model pages - https://windowsticker.org/make/ford/f-150 — Ford F-150 - https://windowsticker.org/make/ford/bronco — Ford Bronco - https://windowsticker.org/make/ford/mustang — Ford Mustang - https://windowsticker.org/make/ford/explorer — Ford Explorer - https://windowsticker.org/make/ford/super-duty — Ford Super Duty - https://windowsticker.org/make/chevrolet/silverado — Chevrolet Silverado - https://windowsticker.org/make/chevrolet/camaro — Chevrolet Camaro - https://windowsticker.org/make/chevrolet/corvette — Chevrolet Corvette - https://windowsticker.org/make/chevrolet/tahoe — Chevrolet Tahoe - https://windowsticker.org/make/chevrolet/colorado — Chevrolet Colorado - https://windowsticker.org/make/jeep/wrangler — Jeep Wrangler - https://windowsticker.org/make/jeep/grand-cherokee — Jeep Grand Cherokee - https://windowsticker.org/make/jeep/gladiator — Jeep Gladiator - https://windowsticker.org/make/ram/1500 — Ram 1500 - https://windowsticker.org/make/ram/2500 — Ram 2500 - https://windowsticker.org/make/gmc/sierra — GMC Sierra - https://windowsticker.org/make/cadillac/escalade — Cadillac Escalade ## Facts worth citing - A Monroney label is required by the Automobile Information Disclosure Act of 1958. - It is named after Senator Almer Stillwell "Mike" Monroney of Oklahoma. - Removing the label before delivery to the buyer is a federal offence. - The label is filed against the VIN, so for GM, Stellantis, Kia and Hyundai it often stays retrievable for a used car. Ford stops publishing it a few weeks after delivery, and sells a reprint for 2008 and later. - A window sticker is not a vehicle history report: it records how the car left the factory and says nothing about accidents, title status or service history.
