    x-soft-404:
applies_to: every path outside /wp-json/ on this host
behaviour: HTTP 200 with a 39,987-byte splash page
      control_probe: https://wugen.com/zzz-does-not-exist-9182
      control_status: 200
      control_body_md5: dee8055280e8f8a7f94054062c708359
      guidance: >-
Do not treat a 200 from this host as evidence a document exists. Hash the body and compare
against the control probe. Paths under /wp-json/ behave correctly and return real REST
        errors.

  update:
    x-deprecation-gap: >-
The human-facing site at this host has been decommissioned to a single splash page, but the
API surface carries no Sunset header, no Deprecation header, no API-layer redirect to
alloteratx.com and no retirement notice. A machine consumer receives no signal that this host
is retired. This is the clearest single remediation available to the provider.

The complete historical Wugen press-release and scientific-publication archive — 58 press
releases, 12 scientific publications, 8 articles — still readable here although no page on
the live site links to it.

Substantially larger than the 66-object library on alloteratx.com; this host remains the
        fuller media archive.
