PageAnchor is designed as a local document reader for PDFs and EPUBs. This Privacy Policy explains how PageAnchor handles your documents, bookmarks, annotations, and reading information.

## Data We Collect

PageAnchor does not require an account and does not collect personal information from you.

The app stores the following information locally on your device so the reader can function:

- Imported document files
- Book titles and file metadata
- Bookmarks
- Highlights and annotations
- Annotation colours
- Reading progress and saved reading locations
- PDF rendering preferences

This information stays on your device. PageAnchor does not upload your documents, notes, bookmarks, highlights, or reading history to our servers.

## Documents and Files

When you import a PDF or EPUB, PageAnchor stores a local copy inside the app’s storage area on your device. These files are used only to display and manage your reading library.

Deleting a book from PageAnchor removes the local copy and its related bookmarks, annotations, and reading position from the app.

## Analytics, Advertising, and Tracking

PageAnchor does not use third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking tools.

PageAnchor does not track you across apps or websites.

## Data Sharing

PageAnchor does not sell, rent, or share your personal data.

Your documents, bookmarks, annotations, and reading activity are not shared with third parties by PageAnchor.

## Apple Services

If you install PageAnchor through the App Store or TestFlight, Apple may collect crash reports, diagnostics, or App Store usage information according to Apple’s own privacy policies and your device settings.

## Data Security

PageAnchor stores app data locally using the storage provided by iOS. You are responsible for protecting access to your device, including using a passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, or other device security features.

## Children’s Privacy

PageAnchor is not designed to collect personal information from children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
