- **Data Sent:** Your chat messages are sent to Groq's API to generate responses
- **Privacy:** Groq's privacy policy applies to data sent to their service
- **Retention:** We do not store your messages on external servers

### Public Research APIs
- **PubMed:** Used to fetch scientific studies (no personal data sent)
- **Semantic Scholar:** Used to fetch research papers (no personal data sent)

- All data is stored locally on your device
- No data is transmitted except for:
  - API requests to Groq (chat messages only)
  - Public API requests for research studies (no personal data)

- **Access:** All your data is stored locally - you can view it in the app
- **Deletion:** You can clear chat history and reset your profile at any time
- **Export:** Currently not available, but all data is accessible within the app
