SERVICES
- RESEARCH/REFERENCE: 685-3511/3513
Reference Librarian on duty at all times to provide reference/research services, including on-line literature searches, assistance in course research/development, and interlibrary loans.
- CIRCULATION: 685-6100
- Patron registration and check-in/out services are offered.
- Materials available for loan include books and videocassettes. Reference books, journals, and microforms are not loaned.
- Materials may be renewed if there are no outstanding requests.

The Library has access to the collections of over 35,000 libraries, a number of online databases, and document delivery services to provide materials not available in the NDU Library. For this service, see a Reference Librarian.
- RESERVE ROOM: 685-6100/685-3962
- At the request of a course director, reserve materials will be shelved in the Reserve Room for the duration of the course. A list of reserve materials by faculty member and/or course is available in the library on-line catalog. The circulation period (determined by the course director) is usually limited.
- The Reserve Room is open to all library patrons.

- Electronic Journals - Electronic access to over 4,000 full text journals in ProQuest Direct, Project Muse, JSTOR, CIAO.
- Journals & Newspapers - Over 1,000 titles on library shelves.
- Government Documents - Electronic access to current Congressional publications via GPO Access in addition to extensive hardcopy collection.
- Via INTRANET ACCESS – FirstSearch, Jane's Online, MERLN, FBIS, Stat-USA, Periscope, EIU Country Reports and Profiles, Digital National Security Archive, Latin American Data Base News Service,
- Maps - Electronic maps using internet or MapInfo; paper maps from National Imagery & Mapping Agency and CIA for reference and classroom
