Ministry of Science, Technology and the Environment, Malaysia (MOSTE)

The Ministry of Science, Technology and the Environment Malaysia (MOSTE) was established
in 1973 as the Ministry of Technology, Research and Local Government. In 1976,
the Ministry assumed its present name in view of the more targeted role it plays in
promoting and developing science and technology in the country.
