DESCRIPTION:

NOVEMBER is National American Indian Heritage Month.

Our Children's Department has more than 20,000 books for children to borrow, reference materials for school projects, and a new multimedia computer for children to use.

Guess how many seeds are in our pumpkin this year! Come in to the Children's Department, look at our pumpkin and try to guess how many seeds are in it. The 3 closest guesses win prizes. Contest runs from Friday Oct. 1 to Friday Oct. 29.

TRENTON KIDS READ, which began on October 1, 1999 and continues until May 1, 2000, will host a Gala Library Party at the Main Library on Saturday May 12, 2000 at 12 noon to 2:00pm sponsered by the Friends of the Trenton Public Library. Come to the Children's Department at Main or any of the branches for more information.

Films, crafts and story times are 10 AM & 7PM on Mondays, 10AM on Tuesdays, 3PM on Wednesdays and 2PM on Saturdays. 

The library will be closed on November 2 for Election Day, November 11 for Veterans' Day and November 25 & 26 for Thanksgiving.

The Children's Department is looking for donations of 16mm films for children. If you have films in good condition that you want to give to the Trenton Public Library please contact:
