| Laboratory Services Division provides microbiological and chemical analysis of samples submitted by the inspection activities of the MDA in order to determine if the samples meet the standards established by law, regulation or label. Additionally, Laboratory Services performs analyses to fulfill contracts and cooperative agreements with the USDA, FDA, EPA and other federal and state agencies. Laboratory Services also provides a laboratory certification program for private and commercial testing laboratories as required by law for dairy analysis. |
