The City of Fresno is issuing a Request for Expression of Interest (RFEI) for a

SOLID WASTE PROGRAM

to find new strategies and alternatives to meet the legal requirement of a 50 % reduction in the amount of solid waste sent to landfills during the Year 2000.

The process will occur in two phases.

1. The City will receive RFEIs with estimated cost.

2. The City will receive Proposals, including Best and Final Offers, for strategies and alternatives selected by the Fresno City Council.
 

RFEIs may be obtained from City of Fresno, Purchasing Division, Phone No. 559-498-1332. Responses to the RFEI must be submitted under sealed cover no later than 3:00 P.M., June 17, 1999, when they will be publicly opened and recorded. 

The City of Fresno hereby notifies all respondents that it will affirmatively insure that, for any Contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit proposals in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, religion, sex, color, or national origin, age or disability in consideration for an award.

The City reserves the right to reject any and all responses to the RFEI.
