Objective: Students will be able to repaint a car door.

Grade Level: 9-12

Activities:

1) Sand surface
2) Wipe down door with solvient
3) Tape off necessary chrome and windows
4) Mix paint as directed on paint can
5) Using spray gun with proper air pressure spray door.

Evaluation:

Inspect paint for any runs or generally bad finish. Shade of paint must match rest of car.
 

Objective: Students will be able to replace valve cover gaskets on 4-cylinder engine.

Grade Level: 9-12

Activity:

1) Remove valve cover, clean off old gaskets.
2) Replace new gaske with contact glue.
3) Re-install valve cover on engine using proper torque.

Engine will perform without any oil leaks.
