  2. Failure Free reading at Ruth Hill
  3. Writing Lab at Atkinson
  4. Title I Enrichment Lab at Newnan Crossing
  5. Research and purchase replacement for existing WTR program
  6. Train Newnan Crossing kindergarten teachers during Winter Intercession on WTR replacement program
  7. Develop project evaluation materials and begin initial data collection
  8. Develop and test Progress software
  9. Train all participating pre-K teachers on Progress program and accompanying readiness software
  10. Develop and test initial cable TV offerings for school and community delivery
  11. Install new classroom workstations for grades PK and K
  12. Train PK and K teachers in Level 1 competencies
  13. Complete remaining LAN wiring at all schools and WAN connection for Newnan Crossing
  14. Connect all appropriate workstations to LAN and WAN
  15. Survey locations for Community Access Centers and install test workstations

  5. Train 1 and 2 teachers in Level 1 competencies
  6. Install initial Community Access Centers
  7. Train mentors and parents on the purpose and use of the Community Access Centers
  8. Implement pilot project to provide on-line literacy training:
  9. Shenandoah Plato system
  10. Offerings through project web site

June - August 1998

  1. Train Newnan Crossing 1st and Atkinson and Ruth Hill kindergarten teachers on WTR replacement
