What bus to ride?

The Coweta County School System's Transportation Department has been scrambling with its new Edulog computer system to finalize school bus routes for the new school year starting Thursday.

The routes for each school are included in this listing that was provided to the Times-Herald. Transportation Director Pete Thompson made a special note for youngsters living in the city of Senoia on Ray Street, Couch Street, Coweta Street and Middle Street where it is difficult for the buses to travel up and down each street and turn around. Youngsters may catch a bus at any of the following bus stops: Ray and Main, Couch and Main, or Middle and Main.

He also noted that the Edulog mapping system has eliminated situations where buses were going up and down routes less than two-tenths of a mile from a residence to the school.
