The INTEGRAL is an international cooperative project between ESA, various universities and institutes in Europe, and NASA/Goddard Space Flight Center. The spacecraft instruments will be provided by ESA
and the launch vehicle will be provided by IKI of Russia. GSFC will provide the active coded-aperature mask and by contract through University of California San Diego the pulse shape discriminator detector electronics. Deep Space Network support for INTEGRAL is planned.

The energy range is between 3 keV and 10 MeV. The energy resolution is 2 keV at 500 keV. The
angular resolution varies between 3 to 17 arcseconds as a function of energy.
