Statement of Liability

For matters of computer hardware maintenance, transport, and repair.

    1. In the event that damage to hardware is caused by Humboldt Internet Provider or any of its technicians, Humboldt Internet Provider shall assume full responsibility.

  Definition of Terms

Technician: A Technician is defined as any person instructed by or acting under the authorization of Humboldt Internet Provider to perform an operation or an assessment of a piece of hardware.

Repair: Repair is defined as the elimination of an existing problem or unsatisfactory condition of a piece of hardware.

Configuration: Configuration is defined as any setup, installation or upgrade to a piece of properly-working hardware and/or its systems.

Transport: Transport is defined as pick-up, delivery and/or physical act of transportation to and/or from the present location of a piece of hardware.

Hardware: Hardware is defined as any computer CPU, peripheral device, or accessory.

Incompatible: The term Incompatible is used to describe any hardware or operating system that is too old and/or too irregular to be made to function with our service.

Irreparable: The term Irreparable is used to describe any piece of hardware or operating system that, after assessment, attempted repair or configuration, is determined by a Technician to be beyond our help.
