About Our Pre-Packaged Program:
This program offers and assortment of the most critically-needed medicines and
medical supplies ideal for short-term teams, doctors, nurses and/or church mission group.
It is designed to relieve the time-consuming and lengthy process of identifying
diseases common to developing countries, choosing appropriate medicines to take and
attending to other details to insure safe passage of the valuable life-saving cargo.
Medical Packs are developed every 30-45 days, depending on product expiration dates and
availability. All medicines are in-date and first-quality. Some of the medicines may have
a short expiry date. Please call for the most current offer.
Packaging:
The Travel Pack is pre-packaged in two 1.6 cubic ft. boxes, each
measuring 17" x 11" x 14". The Travel Pack weight varies between 64 and 69
lbs and is designed to meet international airline travel requirements. The two cartons of
supplies, when strapped together, meet size and weight requirements as one package for
check-in baggage. Travel Pack cartons are affixed with handles for your carrying
convenience.
Service Fee:
MAP's donated medicines and medical supplies are free of charge.
Handling charges assists with one-third of the costs of MAP's computerized inventory
system, highly trained staff, extensive storage space and distribution tracking system.
Plus, 2/3 of the costs of processing, packing and shipping are subsidized through the
generosity of donations from individuals, churches and foundations.
Payment:
Prepayment of the service fee must accompany your order and may
be made by using check or credit card. Medical Packs may not be returned for a refund.
Customs Information:
Customs documents; a notarized Gift Certificate and
a Packing List are attached directly to the pack.
Shipping Information:
Shipping charges are included in the service fee.
Requests can be shipped with in two days of your
confirmed order, if needed quickly, and shipped to you by UPS ground transport. Multiple
orders may require additional delivery time. Medical Packs may not be
shipped by container. They are for hand-carry or air freight shipment only.
IMPORTANT!
Contents of Packs change every 30-45 days; therefore, the list of medicines you review might be different than the
medicines you actually receive unless you request an updated list prior to departure. We
ship the newest offer according to the scheduled departure date. If a packing list of the
medicines is needed before the medicines are scheduled to arrive, please contact MAP
either by phone or by fax.
