There are five articles written by Christian leaders from various countries who know firsthand what persecution is all about. Their testimonies and exhortations will challenge you to greater faith and practical action.

The Resources page provides some "facts and trends about persecution," along with some scriptural references on this subject. This page will also lead you to various prayers from representatives of the persecuted church, and suggested prayer items you can use to pray for those who are suffering. There is also a page giving a summary of Bible examples of people who suffered for their faith.

Six organizations which specialize in ministries to the suffering church have partnered with the WEF Religious Liberty Commission to sponsor this year's IDOP. Some brief but interesting reports of their ministries are included here for your additional information. We encourage you to contact any of these organizations for further information or connections you wish to make.
