ExMENTIS

Enforcement of the Copyright Act of 1976 requires vigilance on the part of information managers and organizations using information. The ExMENTIS series of programs were developed to reduce the liability, control the costs, and increase the revenues of an organization. The ExMENTIS programs - EASY, CURE, and MAJOR are powerful full-featured copyright and document delivery tracking and accounting systems based on leading edge software technology. ExMENTIS utilizes an ESQL based 4GL language called InfoFlex and operates under MS/DOS and UNIX. The ExMENTIS systems are available as standalone or network versions.

EASY
EASY accounts for and tracks copyright license and other fees associated with reproduction and/or transmission of material. EASY also accounts for other billable transactions such as billable hours, case expenses, etc. Invoices can be generated by EASY or information can be extracted from EASY for the firm's billing system.

CURE
CURE performs all the tasks of EASY PLUS accounts for interlibrary loan transactions, statistics, and costs.

MAJOR
MAJOR includes all the features and benefits of EASY and CURE PLUS tracks and accounts for transactions and services among departments, offices, and branches.

The use of the ExMENTIS series of programs reduces risk and provides a vehicle for controlling cost and enhancing revenues. For information contact the Information Center, (312)906-5615 or by fax at (312)906-5685.
