eShare Captures More Than 100 New Customers in Response to its iChat Transition Program Special Offer to Abandoned iChat Customers Results in Key Customer Wins for eShare Commack, NY Feb. 22, 1999 eShare Technologies, the expert in human interaction on the Internet, today announced that it is signing on more than 100 new customers since the company announced its transition program for abandoned customers of Acuity's iChat products just over a month ago. eShare offered the transition in response to Acuity's drastic move to discontinue its iChat product. Last week Acuity announced the sale of its iChat product line to KOZ.com, an organization with a local community-building focus, further weakening support for the iChat customer. eShare's program has saved many iChat customers from potential lost revenue and operation time due to the lack of support from their software vendor. Because of this program, former iChat customers now have the assurance that they will be able to maintain their chat applications in the future.
