eShare Technologies and PeopleSupport Announce Extended Licensed Software Agreement Focused on Enhancing Online Customer Care ATLANTA, GA. -- (December 1, 1999) - eShare Technologies (NASDAQ: ESHR), a leading provider of unified Web and telephony customer communication solutions, announced an extended licensed software agreement with PeopleSupport, Inc. (http://www.PeopleSupport.com), the leading customer care service provider to e-commerce companies. Under this agreement, PeopleSupport will continue to offer clients eShare's NetAgent Interaction™ and NetAgent Re:Sponse™ software as part of its customer interaction outsourcing solutions combining e-mail management with live interactive chat. "The comprehensive NetAgent solution enhances our existing Internet customer care offering, allowing PeopleSupport to better manage e-mail traffic and engage in instant chat dialogs with Web site visitors," said Dave Nash, president and chairman, PeopleSupport. "Our highly educated and thoroughly trained eReps™ will use NetAgent to efficiently manage customer e-mails, push Web pages and files, and conduct real-time chat sessions. The application enables us to deliver the best online customer experience for our clients and their customers. " In addition to the software license which provides for PeopleSupport eReps to use NetAgent, the extended agreement also sets up a referral arrangement whereby PeopleSupport will be able to provide additional value-added services to complement the NetAgent software. NetAgent users can leverage PeopleSupport's comprehensive suite of services including software training, technology implementation, and technology hosting. An extension of this agreement also allows PeopleSupport to become a reseller of the eShare NetAgent suite of products.
