Membership Records Assistant

Salary Range $30,270 - $41,086

Drawing on your experience in high volume records handling in a modern database environment, you will support the ongoing maintenance of the Member Registry by reviewing and imaging incoming documents and updating client electronic files. An ability to contribute positively to a fast-paced team, familiarity with Microsoft Office, advanced keyboarding speed and accuracy, and familiarity with university transcripts are assets for this position.

Primary Duties:

  • Review incoming documents to determine type, authenticity, or the nature of the writer’s request
  • Create or open electronic client files
  • Scan incoming documentation using College imaging equipment and update membership database
  • Receive and process fee payments and requests for change of information in membership database (name, address, employment, language of preference, notice of death, and so forth)
  • Investigate unusual or entwined records; report and resolve associated issues
  • Liaise with Information Technology staff for technical support issues within Records
  • Receive and process requests for statements of standing and duplicate certificates
  • Generate acknowledgment letters for new applicants and customized letters in response to other service requests
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
