Fingerprinting
Current law requires that all school districts obtain a Departmet of Justice fingerprint clearance for all new employees.  To assist districts in meeting this requirement, The Madera County Office of Education operates a Livescan Fingerprint Service which electronically transmits fingerprint impressions to the Department of Justice.  Clearance results are usually obtained within seven working days..and often in only a few days.

The Livescan Fingerprint Service is available by appointment Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the main office located at 28123 Avenue 14, Madera.  Please call Sonia at 673-6051 ext. 233 for an appointment.

The fee for each use of the Fingerprint Service is determined by a variety of factors and exact costs are provided when an appointment is scheduled.
