make sure you save your changes when you edit your bios, and in linux, try and run some sort of "time tool" so you can set your system date and your clock.
in redhat for example its "timetool" not sure what it is in mandrake, if you know, let me know
try "timetool" you never know..
make sure when you setup your mandrack box that you set your time to localtime not gpm or whatever, and make sure you choose the right timezone/part of the world when your setting itup.
