Registration Packets for All SFPS Students
For the 1999-2000 School Year Will
Be Available July 15 at 610 Alta Vista
Santa Fe Public School's student
registration packets will be available at the Educational Services Center
at
610 Alta Vista beginning Thursday, July 15 and at all
Santa Fe Public School sites beginning August 16, 1999.
Parents are required to register all new and continuing
students during this registration. Completed packets
must be returned to the child's school site during the
week of August 16-20. A schedule of exact registration dates
and times for all school sites is included in the registration
packet. A schedule is also posted on this page.
Parents are strongly encouraged to pick up the registration
packets in advance to and fill them out
completely in order to save time on the registration
day.
Santa Fe Public School is registering all students to
insure that the school sites have up to date information
on each student and to better comply with new State Department
of Education requirements for reporting student
data. Annual registration will be required in the future
years as the District implements increased measures to
assure student safety.
In addition to a two page registration form, each packet
include: a home language survey, Code of Conduct
acknowledgment, bus conduct/eligibility acknowledgment
form, Title VIII: Impact Aid Study, and a student
nutrition application.
Parents of children who were enrolled in Santa Fe Public
Schools last year are required to bring the child's
social security number, and two proofs of address or
an approved inter zone transfer when they return the
completed packet in August.
Parents of children who are new to the district are required
to bring the child's social security number, two
proofs of address or an approved inter zone transfer,
up to date immunization record, and a birth certificate or
passport when the completed packet is returned in August
Proof of address is defined by the district as a utility
or phone bill, or other official correspondence that
demonstrates residence.
