Finally received the replacement CPU for the weaker of the two C366s I run in the ABit BP6 SMP machine. I was lucky, it runs ok at 550 MHz and 2.1 Volts. That matches the other one I already had. I may amend my benchmarks in the recent SMP article so you can make some conclusions about what a 100 MHz FSB and 94 more MHz core clock do for it.

German convergence integrated media GmbH showed the first Linux DVD player at the IFA exhibit in Berlin. It will appear as both a PCI add-in board and stand-alone for the christmas business, the drivers for Linux will be open sourced at LinuxTV.Org.
