     Richard F. Ceccarelli is the Lumberton School District’s Child Study Team Director. He has worked for the district for twenty-one years, originally as a school social worker and then director of the Child Study Team for the four district consortium of the Lumberton, Eastampton Hainesport, and Westampton School Districts. In the past year the Lumberton School District established its own, exclusively Child Study Team. As Lumberton Child Study Team Director Mr. Ceccarelli’s responsibilities include coordinating the evaluation, programming and services for students with special needs.

     Mr. Ceccarelli was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut on September 8, 1948. He received a Bachelors of Arts degree in psychology from the University of Connecticut, a Masters in School Social Work degree from Temple University, and completed course work for a Supervisor of Education certificate from Rutgers-Camden. Prior to coming to work in Lumberton, Mr. Ceccarelli was employed at the Archway School in Atco, St. Francis Hospital in Trenton and the Division of Youth and Family Services in Mt. Holly.

     Mr. Ceccarelli lives in Moorestown with his wife Kathryn, a teacher in the Moorestown School District, his son Bryan, a sophomore at Syracuse University and his son Michael, a sophomore at Moorestown High School. His interests and hobbies include sports, especially golf, coaching youth athletics, reading, music and movies.
