Any child entering third through fifth grade will attend the Bobby’s Run Intermediate School. Children entering grades six through eight will attend the Lumberton Middle School.

Register as early as possible:

Any new student must register with the schools prior to attending. Visit the school before your child starts:

You and your are welcome to walk through any school and familiarize yourselves with the facilities any weekday after 3:30 p.m. Simply call the school and notify the main office of the date and time you will be coming.

Open a dialog with school members:

You are welcome to set up a meeting with the principal or teacher before your child enters school. Please call at the appropriate school office between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. to make an appointment. This is particularly recommended if your child has special needs or requirements.

Do your "homework" before your child enters school:

Read up on Lumberton and districts "track record" to familiarize yourself with policies and programs. You may call the Board of Education office to request the annual state-mandated school report card, a recent copy of the district’s community newsletter, copies of brochures hat describe school programs, or a copy of the student handbook for any school. Review the information with your child.
