New and Notable:

Jazz Band! On April 7th and 8th the Flyer Jazz Band (Jazz I) made and outstanding performance at the Morris Jazz Fest. Students had the opportunity to perform as well as listen to other bands play as well. Guest artists/clinicians included Trombonist Bruce Paulson (Johnny Carson Show, Buddy Richards Band), Percussionist Gordy Knudtson (Steve Miller Band), Pete Whitman on the saxaphone and world renowed Tumpetist Ingrid Jensen.
Solo and Ensemble Contewst

 On Wednesday, Wind Ensemble Members Participated in the Minnesota State High School League Solo and Ensemble Contest held at Apollo High School in St. Cloud. Congratulations to all the participants! Also congratulations to the Jazz Band who had an outstanding performance!
Alamo Bowl

Bowl Games of America is pleased to announce the selection of the Little Falls High School Band to perform in the upcoming Alamo Bowl. The Little Falls High School Band is one of the several bands selected from dozens of applicants to perform in this unique performance. The bands were selected based on the following criteria: outstanding musical performance and visual impact, geography, and strength of community support. Each Band was asked to submit a resumé of the band's recent accomplishments and significant performances, and written evidence of strong administration, parental and civic support. These bands will be able ambassadors representing their schools and communities.
