Sartell - Girls Golf Results

The Girl's golf team continues to play well. They finish in 6th place in the third CLC meet of 2000. The meet was held at Sartell Golf Course where it was cold and windy. Tempeature was around 45 with a wind of 25 mph. All the scores were up compared to the first two meets. The medalist score was up 5-6 shots compared to Rocori and Brainerd which had better weather.

The second CLC meet of 2000 was played at Brainerd's Pine Meadow Course on 4/18/00. The Flyers continued to play at a better pace than last year. The team total was 197. The team was below 200 only once in 1999. The first two meets in 2000 were both below 200 with a 190 and a 197. The next meet is Thursday, the 20th, at Sartell.

Rocori Meet Results

The first CLC girls golf meet of 2000 was held at Rocori's River Oaks course on April 13. The Flyer girls bested their best effort of '99 by six shots. This improvement shows the hard work they have put in and is very encouraging for the rest of the season. You can see the full meet results by clicking on the "Rocori Results" link to the right. Also, at the meet the coaches rescheduled the snowed out Little Falls meet to May 9th.

Girl's Golf is underway. The good weather has allowed us to practice outside much sooner than other years. With the money that was earned in the consession stand a video camera and polo shirts for the girls have been purchased.

If you click on "My Calendar" and then pick the month you will be able to see the 2000 schedule. By clicking on a date you will get additional information as to leave time and course. For return time figure 2 and half to 3 hours to play some time to eat plus travel time to araive at a return time.
