The Office of Management & Finance:

• Serves as the management support system for the Department of Social Services.
   
• Provides fiscal services, information services, human resources, budget, policy, planning, research, and evaluation services, and rate setting services to the Secretary, and the various offices under the Secretary.
   
• Monitors departmental policies and procedures to assure compliance with state and federal laws.

Programs and Services 

• Division of Fiscal Services - Provides financial, purchasing, and contracting services to DSS.
   
• Division of Human Resources - Provides personnel management to DSS.
   
• Division of Information Services -Provides computer support and data management for the entire department.
   
• Division of Planning and Budget - Coordinates all activities relative to planning, legislation, and budget for the department.
   
• Division of Rate Setting - Establishes per diem rates for 24-hour substitute care providers.
