WWF Sunday Night Heat results: 6/11 Commentators: Michael Cole and Kevin Kelly Report by: Kevin Gregg of PowerWrestling.com World Wrestling Federation European Championship Match Crash Holly vs. Eddie Guerrero (c)We are just two weeks away from the King of the Ring, and tonight is WWF Sunday Night Heat! Crash Holly's music is playing in the arena to kick off Heat, and the European Championship is on the line! Chyna is with Eddie Guerrero as he comes to the ring, and both of them are in the Final 16 of the King of the Ring Tournament. Eddie Guerrero takes Crash down and he rolls him up into a pinfall for a one count, and then Eddie grabs the arm of Crash. Eddie gives Crash a side head lock, and Crash whips Eddie off the ropes and he gives him a head scissors. Eddie tries to pick Crash up, but Crash once again takes Eddie down with a head scissors. Eddie whips Crash off the ropes and he gives him a tilt a whirl into a back breaker. Eddie Guerrero picks up Crash Holly and gives him a back drop down to the mat and then he goes to the apron and springs himself back into the ring onto Crash Holly. Eddie pins Crash for a two count and then he works on the arm of Crash Holly. Crash gives Eddie a hip toss, and then he charges at Eddie, and Eddie gives him a knee to the gut, followed by a drop kick. Eddie slams Crash's head into the turnbuckle, and then he works on him in the corner with some right hands. Crash reverses and gives Eddie a number of right hands of his own. Crash whips Eddie off the ropes and he gives him a high back body drop. Crash Holly grabs hold of Eddie and he gives him a back drop, followed by a pin for a two count. Crash gives Eddie a body slam and then he goes to the top rope. Eddie slowly gets to his feet and Crash gives him a missle drop kick. Crash pins Eddie for a two count as Eddie grabs the ropes. Crash perches Eddie Guerrero on the top rope and Crash goes to suplex Eddie, but Eddie gives him some shots to the ribs and then flings him off the top rope. Eddie grabs the hand of Crash, while he's on the top rope and then he jumps off and gives him a hurricanrana to get the win!
Winner and still WWF European Champion, Eddie GuerreroAfter the contest, Chyna shakes the hand of Crash Holly and then Eddie holds the ropes open for Chyna to exit the ring. Edie and Crash are left in the ring and Crash waves to Chyna as they leave the ring. The Dudley Boyz are shown backstage, and Buh Buh is telling D-Von that everything is under control, and he tells D-Von to take care of Perry Saturn tonight. D-Von tells Buh Buh to take care of the Big Bossman. The Coach shows up and tells them that if they both get in the King of the Ring, there's a possibility that they will face each other. They look at the Coach, and then Buh Buh tells him that they were kicking the hell out of each other since they were young. Buh Buh says to D-Von that he would knock him on his a$$ right now, if it meant winning the King of the Ring. Lilian Garcia is with Chris Benoit, and Lilian says that Hardcore Holly, Val Venis and Jericho all have one thing on their mind and that is taking away the Intercontinental Championship. Chris says that when you get in the ring and try to take what is his, there's no such thing as compromise, there's reality. His reality, and the reality is that they will lose. King of the Ring Qualifying Match Buh Buh Ray Dudley vs. The Big BossmanBuh Buh Ray Dudley is on his way to the ring, and he is going against the Big Bossman in a King of the Ring Qualifying Match! As the match is officially under way, the fans chant "Bossman sucks!" The Big Bossman backs Buh Buh into the corner and then he hammers away on him with some right hands and body shots. Buh Buh fires out of the corner with some right hands of his own, and then he gives the Bossman a big back body drop. The Big Bossman gives Buh Buh some right hands, and then he slams his head into the turnbuckle. The Bossman whips Buh Buh to the corner, and then he slides to the outside of the ring and pulls Buh Buh's legs to the poll and slams his groin into the ring post.The Big Bossman gives Buh Buh a right hand, and then he whips him off the ropes and nails him with a clothesline. The Big Bossman pins Buh Buh for a two count, and then Buh Buh is able to roll the Bossman up for a two count. The Big Bossman knocks Buh Buh down and then he gives him a knee drop. The Bossman chokes Buh Buh over the second rope and then the Bossman whips Buh Buh off the ropes and gives him a huge big boot. The Bossman whips Buh Buh off the ropes and he gives him the Bossman slam. Bull Buchanan makes his way to the ringside area, and he argues with the Big Bossman. Buh Buh grabs the Bossman from behind and gives him a back suplex. Buh Buh goes off the ropes and gives the Bossman an elbow drop. Buh Buh gives the Bossman a back body drop to the outside of the ring and the Bossman and Bull hammer away on each other on the outside of the ring. Bull nails the Big Bossman in the back of the head with the night stick as he gets in the ring and then Buh Buh gives The Big Bossman the Buh Buh Cutter to get the win!
Winner - Buh Buh Ray DudleyThe Coach is standing by with Hardcore Holly, and he is talking about tonight's match. Hardcore Holly says he doesn't give a damn about this interview, his questions, or the wrestlers in the match. The questions he should be asking Hardcore Holly is how do they feel getting in the ring with The Big Shot. The answer to that would be not too happy. Hardcore Holly calls the Coach fat, and then he asks him how he feels about that, and the Coach starts to talk, and Hardcore interrupts him and says he doesn't give a damn! D'Lo Brown vs. Steve BlackmanSteve Blackman is headed to the ring and he is going against D'Lo Brown in a one on one match. Steve kicks at D'Lo Brown a few times to start off the match, but he misses. The referee tries to get Steve to stop from doing so, and D'Lo attacks Steve from behind. D'Lo Brown gives Steve Blackman a number of right hands, and then Steve whips D'Lo into the corner, only to get a big boot to the face. Steve gives D'Lo Brown a power slam, and then he goes to the second rope for a head butt, but he misses as D'Lo Brown gets out of the way. D'Lo Brown tries to throw Blackman to the outside of the ring, but Blackman is able to pull himself back up into the ring.D'Lo Brown gives Steve Blackman a clothesline to the outside of the ring and then he jumps over the top rope and lands on Steve Blackman. Steve whips D'Lo Brown into the security wall, and then Steve gets in the ring to break the count. Steve grabs D'Lo Brown by the ear and he brings him to the apron and slams him down on the steel steps, face first! Steve rolls D'Lo Brown back into the ring and then he whips D'Lo off the ropes, only to get reversed and clotheslined. D'Lo Brown gives Steve Blackman a chop to the head, and then he gives him a body slam. D'Lo goes to the second rope and goes for a leg drop, but Steve Blackman moves out of the way. Steve gives D'Lo Brown a standing drop kick, and then he kicks D'Lo Brown in the face. Steve Blackman poses in the ring with some martial arts, and the fans cheer him. Steve Blackman gives D'Lo Brown a spine buster and then he bridges onto him and pins him for a two count. Steve whips D'Lo off the ropes, and he goes for a back body drop, but D'Lo kicks Steve in the face and gives him the Sky High. Al Snow comes into the ring and then he nails D'Lo Brown in the head with Head, and then he nails the referee! Another referee comes to the ring to check on D'Lo Brown and Teddy Long, and Steve Blackman leaves the ring.
Winner as a result of a disqualification, D'Lo Brown King of the Ring Qualifying Match Perry Saturn vs. D-Von DudleyPerry Saturn is on his way to the ring for a King of the Ring Qualifying Match against D-Von Dudley. D-Von Dudley comes out to a huge pop and when D-Von gets in the ring, the two lock up and Saturn gives D-Von a side head lock. D-Von whips Saturn off the ropes, and he takes him down with a clothesline. D-Von gives Saturn a jumping clothesline, and then he poses for the crowd. When he turns around to Saturn, Saturn gives him a drop kick. Saturn then picks D-Von Dudley up and heaves him across the ring. Saturn backs D-Von into the corner and he hammers away on him with some right hands.Saturn goes for another right hand, and then D-Von fires back with some right hands of his own. D-Von whips Saturn off the ropes, and he nails him with an elbow. D-Von Dudley gives Perry Saturn a suplex, and then he goes off the ropes and gives Saturn a leg drop. D-Von pins Saturn for a two count, and then as Saturn is slow to get to his feet, D-Von kicks him in the face. Saturn picks up D-Von over his shoulders, and then he slams him down to the mat, face first. Saturn whips D-Von into the corner and then D-Von gives Saturn a big boot. D-Von gives Saturn a sunset flip into a pin for a two count. Saturn gives D-Von Dudley a clothesline, and then Saturn wrenches away on the face of D-Von Dudley. D-Von gives Saturn a number of right hands, and then he whips Saturn to the corner and follows it up with a flying forearm. D-Von pins Saturn for a two count and the fans chant "Table, table!" D-Von puts Saturn on the top rope and he gives him a super plex! As both men are down on the mat, Tori makes her way to the ringside area and it looks like she is there to taunt D-Von. Buh Buh Ray sneaks out behind Tori and he grabs her by the hair! X-Pac and The Road Dogg comes out to help Tori, and Tori gives Buh Buh a low blow, and then X-Pac gives him the X-Factor on the mat. The Road Dogg pulls D-Von's head over the top rope and then Perry Saturn gives D-Von a power bomb. Saturn then goes to the top rope and gives D-Von Dudley a flying elbow to get the win and advance to the round of 16 in the King of the Ring.
Winner - Perry SaturnThe Coach is with Chris Jericho, and The Coach says there are three other opponents tonight, and they don't seem to have a whole lot in common, other than the fact that they don't like Jericho. Jericho says that there are three goofs that don't like him, yet tons of fans like him, and the fans don't want to see the others as the Intercontinental Champion. Chris says that he is going to take the Intercontinental Championship and put it around his waist for the third time! World Wrestling Federation Intercontinental Championship Match Four Corners Match Chris Jericho vs. Val Venis vs. Hardcore Holly vs. Chris Benoit (c)Chris Jericho is on his way to the ring, and this next match is for the WWF Intercontinental Championship! Val Venis comes to the ring with Trish Stratus, and he tried to get revenge for Trish Stratus against Rikishi Phatu on WWF Smackdown!, but Val found himself down on the ground and being big splashed from the stage by Rikishi Phatu. All four men go at it in the ring, and the first man to get a pin will be the Intercontinental Champion. Chris Jericho gives Chris Benoit a drop kick to the leg, and that knocks him to the outside of the ring. Chris Jericho goes to drop kick Hardcore Holly off the apron, but Benoit knocks Jericho down. Chris Jericho is able to get up and give both Benoit and Holly a drop kick off the apron as they fight on the apron. Val Venis gives Chris Jericho a spine buster in the ring, and Hardcore Holly breaks up the pin. Hardcore and Val fight in the corner as Chris Benoit and Jericho fight. Jericho gives Benoit the lion sault and then he pins him for a two count as Val breaks up the pin. Chris Benoit gives Val Venis a number of chops to the chest, and then Hardcore Holly gives Val a clothesline. Hardcore Holly drops Chris Benoit onto the top rope, and then he gives Benoit a back suplex. Chris Jericho gets back in the ring and he gives Hardcore a number of chops in the corner, and Hardcore battles back with some of his own. Chris Jericho puts Hardcore Holly on the top rope, and he gives him a hurricanrana from the top. Chris Benoit goes to the top rope and he gives Hardcore Holly a head butt from the top rope, but Val Venis breaks up the pin. Val tosses Benoit over the top rope and Jericho goes to work on Val in the corner. Jericho whips Val into the corner, and Val gives him an elbow. Val Venis gives Jericho a power bomb into a pin, but Hardcore Holly breaks up the three count. Hardcore whips Val off the ropes, and he nails him with a drop kick as he comes back. Val whips Hardcore off the ropes, and Benoit pulls the ropes down, and Hardcore falls to the outside of the ring. Chris Jericho goes for the Walls of Jericho on Val Venis, and he gets it on and Holly grabs a chair and he tries to nail Jericho with it, but Benoit takes it and nails Hardcore Holly with it, and then he pins him to get the win. Val Venis was tapping on the other side of the ring, but the referee counted the three count in favor of Chris Benoit.
