  • WCW News: Vampiro, Ric Flair, Demon, and More
By Brandon Newman on June 14, 19100 at 03:54:42

The following is from the newswire sources are credited below

-Vampiro had a minor leg injury from the bump he suffered at Nitro, but he will be ok.

-On Nitro, the original plan was to have Vampiro set the dressing room on fire, therefore burning Asya. Then Dale Torborg (The Demon, who is Asya's real-life fiancee) would have come to here rescue therefore setting up a match between the two. The finish for their match was supposed to be The Demon throwing a fireball at Vampiro, but that didn't happen either. Both storylines did not happen because of Standards and Practices.

-Bobby Heenan missed the Thunder tapings in Norfolk, VA due to a family emergency. Filling in for Heenan is Mark Madden.

-Ric Flair will have shoulder surgery next Thursday. It is unknown how much damage has been done to his shoulder, and whether or not the injury is career threatening.
