More on Kim Page - Kevin Nash - Trish Stratus
By JCMcGhee on June 14, 2000
Trish Stratus is no longer the WWF Dog House as reported some time ago. Shortly after her arrival to the World Wrestling Federation, though garnering great reaction from the fans, the federation wasn't pleased with her delivery of lines and over all pressence, but that has since changed with some coaching from federation promo coach, Pat Patterson. Trish has also raised the brows of those in the creative department with her ability to take bumps and will be heavily involved in some major developement of storylines for her and the stable that she's assocaited with. It's been rumored that, Kevin Nash, though going through with current storylines in WCW has quietly expressed his concerns with the direction of his character and his recent losses in WCW. Nash who is currently involved in the lead story line that WCW is putting forth, has been reluctant in his role as of late, and isn't a fan of being the vehicle used to get Goldberg over as a heel, not to say that Nash has any heat wth Goldberg, but was to a degree against being used in this particular storyline. Those privy to locker room discussions states that Nash feels that being used in this role, to the fans, would solidify and begin his departure/retirement from the business, unless he scores some clean victories over the company's super heel, in Goldberg, but a source states that with the company putting a large majority of it's stock in Goldberg, it is unlikely that Nash will gain many, if any, clean victories over Goldberg. Despite a blow up with management and quitting her position in the company, Kimberly Page is expected to meet with WCW management later this week to discuss her situation and possible return to the company, states a source close to this situation. No one saw this incident coming, but this source states that there had been ill feelings for her direction as has been the case with many on the WCW roster in recent weeks. Mostly those in what has been considered WCW's Golden Cirle, which consists of many in the Millionaires Club. As you may have read earlier in this report, Kevin Nash is another who isn't to thrilled with the way things are in WCW. Another rumored and silent protester of things in WCW, has been Sting, who's never been too vocal about his current role and situation, but there are those that states that even he has publicly expressed his displeasure with the current direction of the company, but that as formentioned is rumored at this point. Yesterday, I reported that Page will be taking some considerable time off to completely heal from an agrivating back injury, and I wouldn't rule out that Kimberly's situation is and could be played up as an angle, as that seems to be the norm in WCW with it's offerings of shoot/worked angles.
